Chan Hay Ching (陳曦靜) is currently a Lecturer at the Lingnan University's Community College.

Born in Mainland China, she came to Hong Kong when she was in secondary school.

While pursuing her bachelor's degree in Chinese at Lingnan University, Chan started her writing career. Some of her pieces have been published in literary magazines in both Hong Kong and Mainland China. Her two books,《不再狗臉的日子》and 《爆炸糖殺人事件及其他》, came out in 2011 and 2016 respectively.
